How to start a Toyota with Push Button start that has a dead smart key battery. This should work on all push button start vehicles like the Toyota Camry, Rav4, Avalon, Venza, Highlander, Newer Corolla, Prius, Lexus is250, is300 and others.

First you need to gain access to your vehicle by releasing your key from the transponder.
Once you are inside of your vehicle.
Press and hold the brake pedal.
Then place the smartkey transponder over the Engine start button
Once you hear a beep the Engine smart button will illuminate with the green light (may take several seconds)
Keep holding the brake pedal and press the engine start button.

This way you can drive to the nearest store and replace your key battery.

Check out my other videos on how to replace your Smart Key transponder battery.

Most of the Toyota vehicles that have the keyless ignition or Push Button Start had this setup since 2007.  This should work on all newer Toyotas with the Push Button start.  I did this video on a 2011 Toyota Camry but the steps should be the same for others like Rav4 / Camry / Avalon / Sienna / Tacoma / Tundra / Highlander / Venza / 4Runner / Sequioa / Land cruiser / FJ Cruiser  / Prius / Corolla.  The models years that had this system are 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 and 2015.  Even the newer Corollas now have this option when they did not have this previously.  Hope this helps resolve your problems with the car or if it wont start.
