Israel's air force said it killed Ali Qadhi, the Hamas commander who led the cross-border attack on Israeli settlements on October 7. Ali Qadhi was killed in a drone strike following intelligence efforts by the Shin Bet security agency and Military Intelligence Directorate, as per Israeli military. The Israeli military said “Ali Qadi was a company commander of the Hamas 'Nukhba' (elite) commando force.”
Meanwhile, repors say that the US has been working with Egypt, Israel and Qatar to have the Rafah border crossing open for five hours on October 14. Reports said Washington has been in touch with Palestinian-Americans inside Gaza. An agreement was reached to allow foreigners exit Gaza through the Rafah border crossing on October 14.
