The 2-5-1 is the most common gospel passing chords. There is hundreds of variations of chords you can do over this progression.
In this tutorial I teach a beginners approach to understanding the 2-5-1 in the key of C major cause it's the easiest.
You can apply this to other keys because I use the number system to approach the progressions and chord building.
