Port of Anacortes 26' Osprey Boat Launch Fail

On July 1, 2015 Ryan Bradley was operating the boat launch at Port of Anacortes in Anacortes, Washington. High above the water was a 26' Osprey, a boat that likely set its owner back nearly a quarter-million dollars.

Everything was going according to plan until, in less than a second, the west launch strap slipped off of the boat and the boat's bow plunged into the water... followed quickly by, obviously, the rest of the boat as the Osprey slipped from its stern strap. The boat shot forward, coming to rest on rocks.

I know exactly how much repair costs totaled. What's your best guess?
