Inspired by her experience living
Inspired by her experience living abroad in Chandigarh, India, and interacting with the local staff working at her house, Sophie discusses the concept of "two steps forward, one step back" in social progress, while also arguing that the youth can change with the use of social media.
Using examples ranging from sexism to education, Sophie believes that progress can still be achieved when people are willing to step up for what they believe to be right.
Sophie enjoys step dancing, going for hikes, and just walking in general. She loves discovering new places and different cultures as she has lived in 4 countries. She raises funds for Habitat for Humanity and founded “No More Fear”, an initiative aimed at raising awareness of the LGBTQ population.
