This is the second lesson in my bebop scale guitar lesson series.
The bebop scale is about targeting chord tones on strong beats, which is a game-changing practice, whether we're interested in jazz or not.
In this video, I show you a series of drills to help you master improvising with the bebop scale.
By practicing these drills, we can break through a common challenge, which is sounding like a scale when we improvise.
We may know the “right notes” to play when improvising, but we wonder why doesn't it sound musical yet.
Step-by-step exercises like the ones in this video can help solve this problem.
