A 20km moderate to strenuous
A 20km moderate to strenuous circuit, starting and ending in Chepstow using the Wye Valley Walk and Offas Dyke Walk with Tintern and the famous abbey as a mid point. Plenty of places to eat in Tintern with The Anchor being my favorite right next to the abbey itself.
This is a great route that will take you a day to complete, there is a fair bit of up and down and in some places care needs to be taken not to trip as there is a long steep bank down to the river. Offas dyke side stays a steady decline after the initial uphill section to devils pulpit.
