In this video, Keith Barker covers how modern networking equipment transfer data packets through the use of routing protocols such as EIGRP and OPSF. He further describes how you can use routing redistribution to easily distribute packets between networks that use different protocols.
After watching this video, you will understand how the routing of packets works, by first determining the correct path for directing the packets to a specific address and then by actually sending these packets.
Keith will further show you why using dynamic routing protocols is far better than using static routing methods because of how it allows networks to share routing information on the fly with other networks.
