Crispy pork with parsley sauce, or ‘Stegt flæsk med persillesovs’, is Denmark’s official national dish. It is a very traditional and old dish that has won the hearts, and delighted the taste buds, of Danes for centuries! Crispy Pork with parsley sauce is one of my favorite danish dishes, so I hope you will try out this danish classic dish.

You will need:
500 g pork belly slices
salt
potatoes
parsley sauce

Procedure:
Preheat oven to 200℃.
Put some baking paper on a baking tray. Place the pork belly slices on the baking tray and lightly sprinkle the sliced pork belly with salt on both sides.
Roast the pork in the oven for 30 – 40 minutes turning it once or twice until the pork looks crisps. Take them out of the oven and place them on a plate.
Bring the potatoes to a boil in lightly salted water, then simmer until tender for about 15 – 20 minutes. Serve the crispy pork with the boiled potatoes and a large spoonful of parsley sauce.
