I'm Jasmin Rees, a third year PhD student at the UCL GOS Institute of Child Health and UCL Genetics Institute, studying local adaptation to micronutrient levels in the diet in modern humans.

My time is split fairly evenly between the two departments, but here is a day in the life when I'm at the ZCR building of ICH! I'm an entirely computational student so a lot of my day is at my desk, but I also keep very busy with meetings, journal clubs and undergraduate teaching.

I'm a huge fan of breaking up my day with trips to get nice coffee, and when I'm not working I love cooking (and eating), strength training and live comedy/theatre. I hope you enjoy these snippets of my day!
