Judson Horras speaks as the first opposition for the motion on Thursday 2nd May 2024 in the Debating Chamber.
The second debate grapples with the legacy and future of masculinity. In an age where even the most genuine criticisms of the social expectations of masculinity have led to extreme backlash, we ask whether the core values and virtues associated with modern masculinity can be defended and cherished, or whether our retention of the idea prevents true liberation for all.
