Two Firefighters Injured Fighting Major Emergency Fire | Leimert Park

1.20.21 | 12:24 A.M | LOS ANGELES - LAFD responded to a reported structure fire. Firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire coming from a two story commercial building. Firefighters started advancing hose lines into the building when a roiling door collapsed onto two firefighters trapping them briefly. Both Firefighters were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Soon after fire started blowing through the roof of the building forcing all firefighters out of the building Firefighters used heavy streams to knock down the fire in 2 hours. No other injuries have been reported.
