Puran poli is a sweet flatbread stuffed with a sweet lentil feeling made from split chickpeas (chana dal) and jaggery. This delicious side dish recipe is an extremely rich in flavours and is a great option to serve on festivals.
Ingredients
• All Purpose Flour (Maida) 350 gm
• Whole Wheat Flour (Atta) 350 Gram
• Salt ¼ tsp
• Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
• Water 430 ml
• Oil 1½ tbsp
• Water 1600 ml
• Split Chickpeas (Chana Dal) 400 gm
• Jaggery (Gud) Powder 350 gm
• Clarified Butter (Ghee) 2 tbsp
• Nutmeg (Jaiphal) Powder ½ tsp
• Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder 1 tsp
