Is the LUMIX G9ii what the GH6 should have been?

I hate to ask but is the LUMIX G9ii what the GH6 should have been? This is totally an opinion video to spark some conversation but the G9ii does a ton of what the GH6 did as far as shoot settings and specs. The one thing that separates the G9ii from the GH6 is the hybrid phase detect autofocus system. Is that enough to replace the GH6?
