Bangkok, Thailand - In today's vlog I enjoyed lots of delicious street food snacks at this secret local market called Talat Phlu market, that many tourists don't really know about! I really was not expecting this in Bangkok, Thailand. I wasn't expecting to be able to find such cheap and wonderful street food!
I started of my market stroll with a refreshing coconut smoothie which only costed 30 baht. After getting this hydrating drink I was ready to explore this market.
The first street food I tried was a fried vegetable snack. I went for the small portion which costed me 35 baht ($1) This one was super delicious.
Next I got myself some fish balls. We had a little chat and she even know the place where I live in the north. As she travels there once in a while. Super friendly vendors on this market who speak English very well!
After tasting my snacks it was time to explore the other side of the market. Firstly I got myself some worms which were incredibly cheap. Only 30 baht for a small portion! Love to eat these as they're full of proteins. Healthy snack!
Then it was time for a little dessert. I got some Thai coconut pancakes with the lady from Myanmar. She even teached me some words in her language.
It got very hot in the afternoon so I needed some fresh fruits. Once I found one vendor I asked him to cut the dragon fruit for me. He didn't understand me so he got his girlfriend to talk with me on the phone. Haha.
In the end I was on a hunt for a big meal. I went for the yen ta foo without squid. Same as all other street food on this market it was pretty cheap. Paid 60 baht for this delicious meal.
