ANS Pharmacology, Miosis vs Mydriasis:
Cholinergic agonists stimulate the cholinergic receptor on the sphincter pupillae, and cause miosis. Anticholinergics block these receptors, so there is mydriasis. Adrenergic drugs stimulate adrenergic receptors on dilator pupillae, which causes mydriasis. And antiadrenergic drugs block these receptors, leading to miosis.
