Scots Guards Band with 1st Battalion Scots Guards Pipes Drums

On Saturday 23rd September 2023
On Saturday 23rd September 2023 I received a facebook message from Haizhen of youtube channel "Haizhen's Hut" fame to alert me to a free concert by the Band of The Scots Guards and The Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion of the Scots Guards in St. Andrews Square, Edinburgh.
1 hour later I was in position and found a great spot right next to The Lord Provost of Edinburgh Robert Aldridge where I setup my Nikon z6ii with 24-200mm lens on a tripod and chatted to the provost about his recent equestrian skills on The Royal Mile at The Riding of the Marches!
I decided to work my monopod mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2000 to get the zoom shots too. This footage is from that camera.
I must add that youtube have a system called ContentID that scans every clip you upload. The objective of this system is to weed out copyrighted music. It determined there was some copyrighted music here so my options are TRIM or MUTE at those points in time. I chose TRIM. You may notice some jumps in the VT and this is why.
The Band of The Scots Guards play the first 17 minutes, then the 1st Battalion of The Scots Guards play 10 minutes on their own. The free concert finishes with 15 minutes of combined Band and Pipes.
