Yesilcam | Season 1
In the series, which tells the story of a producer's survival in Yeşilçam, which started to experience its golden age in the shadow of 1960s Turkey; Semih Ateş is an ambitious producer who can't live without stories, is blinded by the cinema, and says 'I'll die if I can't make a movie'. After losing his production company, Ateş Film, to his rival Vehbi, Semih has two goals: to make a blockbuster movie without losing his new company, Büyük Ateş. At the same time, to win back his unforgettable ex-wife, Yeşilçam's famous actress Mine Cansu. Hakan, who is both Semih's partner and Mine's brother, introduces Semih to Tülin, whom he saw by chance and believed to be the starlight. Tülin, a young and talented girl, slowly changes the balance in Semih's life.
Episode 2 Long Version
In the end, Mine accepts Vehbi’s offer unwillingly. While Turgut still tries to finish a new script for Semih, Tülin already focuses on her acting practises. Meanwhile Faik tries to find a way to introduce İzzet and Tülin by talking with Adviye. With a surprising dinner invitation, a heartbroken past emerges and makes Semih upside down again after years.
Turbulent political atmosphere of the country begins to affect everybody one by one. İzzet’s goal about creating a national cinema becomes serious and he asks for help from Reha. Mine realises that the affair between her and Reha is not a secret at all. When Turgut finished the script, the reading rehearsal finally began. With the surprising offer İzzet Made to Semih who is still searching for money, all the dynamics are about to change permanently.
