Bill C-69: On Canada Disability Benefit June 17

I appreciate her support for the school food program. It is something the NDP has been fighting for and I am really happy to see that, with our pressure, we were able to finally see it in the budget. Returning back to this issue of people living with disabilities and the reality of the deep amount of poverty that community is in, the benefit that the Liberals are putting forward is only $200 a month, which absolutely will not bring people out of poverty. Is the member willing to advocate for persons living with disabilities and push the government to do better?
