Gujarati dal recipe in thermomix, with basmati rice

Classic sweet and tangy gujarati dal which is healthy enough to eat every day, a staple in my diet and incredibly easy and tasty made in the thermomix. This recipe is probably quicker to make in a pressure cooker, however I like the convenience of the thermomix. I also show you how i cook basmati rice simultanoeusly while the daal cooks.
This dal recipe will serve 3-4 people comfortably.

Ingredients:

Tuver dal 1 cup
1 tomato
Jaggery 2 tsp
juice of half a lemon
Curry leaves
Coriander
1/2 a cup of raw peanuts
Ginger-chilli paste
Chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, cumin-coriander powder
Asofoetida
Olive oil ( or ghee for special occasions)
Mustard seeds, cumin seeds
Whole dried red chillis

Once I have prepared my Roti dough, I quickly clean the mixing bowl with water alone at speed 9 for 30 seconds, then start making the dal shown above.
