They say “the more things change, the more the same,” and that could be case for the Buffalo Bills defense in 2024.
Buffalo’s defense experienced a lot of changes this offseason with several notable departures, an infusion of youth, and the announcement of a new defensive coordinator.
Many are counting out this defensive unit, but with a defensive minded head coach and a solid core there’s a lot of reason for optimism. Buffalo has had a top five defense in terms of points allowed in each of the past three seasons, and that could remain the same moving forward.
Many changes were necessary for this defensive unit, and they should be beneficial for the betterment of the team. Despite the losses of key contributors, Buffalo will continue to have an elite defense.
