The Arrival: Home (east coast USA) to Porto Covo, Portugal. April 2023
In early April I walked the Rota Vicentina, a hiking trail in the south of Portugal. This wasn't a Camino route (in this case I was going north to south, AWAY from Santiago de Compostela), but many aspects of the walk were similar: walking from village to village, stunning landscapes, a daily cafe con leite, staying in hostels and meeting hikers from all over the world.
