This song represents the journey my heart has been on over the last several years...some of my brokenness has come from my own choices, some has come from challenges God has sent me, some things that have broken me down have been completely out of my control. Regardless of where our brokenness comes from, though, I believe that God wants our broken pieces - all of them - so He can build us back up. He can fill our emptiness, our darkness, our scars with His love and light. He can take our mess and turn us into a masterpiece - and all we have to do is trust Him enough to hand Him all of our pieces...all of our ugliness, all of our pride, all of our uncertainty...and then step back and witness the beauty He creates in us.
