The Story of Norfolk and Western 522

This is a look at the restoration of a GP30 locomotive, number 522 of the Norfolk and Western Railway. The unit is now owned by the Roanoke Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. This documentary will show the history of this engine while in service on the N&W from 1962 to 1991. The unit was stored in through 1992-1999  Actual VHS taped footage of the 522 when it was purchased by the Roanoke Chapter in 1999, along with current photos taken by Chapter members .
