A 2006 trip on narrowboat Kismet through Hull's Old Harbour (including the now demolished Joseph Rank flour mill) and on the the busy Humber Estuary. However, an old rope causes some serious problems for our boat. Dean's Tugs Lashette, and Shovette come to the rescue, and you get to see these unique tugs close up, and working hard. The Icelandic navy set off seaward, and Humber Keel, Comrade motors back to South Ferriby. Once back underway the 3000 tonne RMS Warber passes at speed as do many other vessels running late on the tide. We tie alongside a crane barge at Keadby.
