Mobile tool carts for small workshops.
In this video I will be building two mobile workshop carts for my large power tools.
One of the carts is designed for my large pillar drill and a 50 liter air compressor.
The second cart will have a bandsaw on top and two full extension shelves for easy access to my Trition sander and scrollsaw.
I hope you will find this video inspiring and informative.
I will not be providing a cut list as these carts are designed to fit in my workshop space and house my tools.

Pillar drill cart cut list:
Plywood sheet for base – 38cm x 76.5cm x 1.2cm
Plywood sheet for top – 38cm x 76.5cm x 2.4cm
Studs supports for the plywood sheets top and bottom (stud board size 6.3cm x 3.8cm) – 4 boards of 76.5cm and 4 boards of 25.4cm
Stud boards for the sides – 4 boards of 2.5cm x 6.3cm x 77.8cm. 4 boards of 2.5cm x 6.3cm x 63.9cm
Side plywood panels are best to measure your cart and then cut them as putting everything together may differ by 1 -2 mm and the panels would not fit. Learned that the hard way ;)
Rear stud board leg support – 2 boards 3.8 cm x 6.3cm x 33cm
Casters – 7cm height

Bandsaw cart cut list:
Plywood sheet for base and top – 2x ( 49cm x 76.5cm x 2.4cm )
Stud boards for the sides – 4 boards of 2.5cm x 6.3cm x 84.2cm. 4 boards of 2.5cm x 6.3cm x 63.9cm
Rear stud board leg support – 2 boards 3.8 cm x 6.3cm x 44cm
Side plywood panels are best to measure your cart and then cut them as putting everything together may differ by 1 -2 mm and the panels would not fit. Learned that the hard way ;)
Casters – 7cm height
