This Jazz guitar lesson is all about a Minor Jazz Blues improvisation. You'll learn what the best scales are to use over an A minor jazz blues. I'll also cover arpeggios for minor blues.
I'll teach you my guitar solo over a minor jazz blues. In this guitar tutorial I'll show everything note for note, slow and easy. I'll explain the theory behind the minor blues. You'll learn how to improvise over a minor jazz blues on guitar. I show you all the great minor jazz blues guitar licks, using dorian, eolian, harmonic minor scales, arpeggios, phrygian dominant and altered scales.
I made the minor jazz blues tabs and also backing tracks for you to download from one of the links up above.
I also made scale diagrams for the minor blues, so you know what you're doing and not only learn the minor blues solo by heart.
The improvisation over a minor blues is not that hard. But if you use chord substitutions, things get a little more complicated. I teach you how to improvise over II V I in minor, which will be one of the approaches to fill up the boring minor chord. A little exitement never hurts ;-)
I made all the scale diagrams you need for this minor blues solo. It'll provide you with everything you need and you will recognize the minor jazz blues licks I've used in my solo. Now it's up to you to improvise over this minor blues.
