A new word in terms
A new word in terms of high-speed powder materials processing by laser technologies. With recently developed EHLA (high-speed cladding technology) for surface coating, it was just a matter of time as this process found an extension into a three-dimensional world.
WIth help of specially designed high-dynamic cinematics, components can be accelerated to required feed rates with relatively little effort.
The pE3D system of ponticon, designed for maximum stiffness and dynamics, is the first to achieve the feed rates required for the EHLA process in all three spatial directions. Therefore, components with free-form and plain surfaces may now be coated, repaired, and additively manufactured utilizing a diverse material portfolio.
