Impressed Current Cathodic Protection for Reinforced Concrete

Impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) systems have successfully been used to protect embedded reinforcing steel from corrosion in bridge structures since the early 1970’s.  Since then the field has evolved with respect to new innovations in material science and practitioners have learned many lessons as it relates to the design, installation, and maintenance of these systems. This webinar will discuss the history of ICCP systems, modern approaches to design and current applications on bridge structures.
