💪 Origin: Transverse processes of vertebrae C1-C4
💪 Insertion: Medial border of the scapula (between superior angle and the root of the scapula's spine)
💪 Action: Elevates scapula and tilts the glenoid cavity inferiorly by downwardly rotating the scapula
💪 Innervation: Cervical nerve (C3, C4) and dorsal scapular nerve (C5)
💪 Blood Supply: Dorsal scapular artery
