Here are the settings I used in my Pod Go to get my sound in my Tool's 7empest Video that I posted last week. I got my Line 6 Pod Go along with my new Les Paul guitar last month for my 9th birthday and it took me a few days to learn how to use this awesome multi-effect processor. When playing Tool songs, this is really needed. I had so much fun playing with all the effects. But the toughest part was tweaking it so many times until I got the sound I liked through my amp. This took me a few weeks of trial and error.
Some of you had requested for my patch and the settings I used in my Pod Go to get my sound in my Tempest guitar cover video. So I thought I would make a quick video showing how I ended up setting it all up by grouping the various settings and how it worked for me after many trials. In this video I have shown the various Pedals I used, different Snapshots and Presets, Amp and Cab combo, etc.
Since this is my very first time with Pod Go and this is the first song I played with this, I am sure others might find a better way than I did or even get a better sound with a different pedalboard set-up. But this patch I did from scratch myself by self-learning the Pod Go Edit software and after re-doing it and tweaking several times until I liked it, this seems to work for me. This is the same patch I used in my last 7empest Video too.
There are still so many more things that Adam Jones does that I can't figure out and also there is a limit in the number of pedals I can have in the chain with Pod Go so I have to pick and choose the main ones that are audible in the song. This god, Adam Jones, is such a LEGEND. No idea how he comes up with these ideas on effects he chooses to use in his composing and he nails them all perfectly and nothing is over done or sounds out of place. Amazing thing is he controls all the effects himself while doing a live concert in front of thousands of lucky people. He has taught me so much on how metal becomes even cooler when you use the effects correctly! It's so cool.

- Epiphone Les Paul Modern Figured (Carribean Blue Fade)
- Line 6 Pod Go
- Dimebag Crybaby From Hell Wah Pedal
- Marshall Code 50 Amp (set in plain clean mode with amp, cab, fx and mod disabled)
- Some Glitters and Peppa Pig & Toothless on the side 😀
