Palakkad: With the lowering of
Palakkad: With the lowering of the shutters of the Malampuzha Dam by three centimeters, the floods in the town of Palakkad has lessened. Last day the dam's shutters were kept open at 150 centimeters. The natives panicked and were moved to the relief camps, as the flood waters had entered their houses, which are not on the banks of the river. By the time they came back to their houses, every important thing they owned was lost. The Water Authority officials are busy in repairing the broken water pipes.
