I thought I'd try to get a Luton trip in somewhere again, so thought to do it while it was sunny on a Sunday, with the intention of going up in the aim of catching some of the summer evening regulars, MNG Cargo being one of which. Sadly as this was a rushed trip I had forgot to charge all my batteries, so had to make do with the one I had, which practically went flat just after the MNG, so I couldn't stay to see Vueling and Transavia. There is always a next time.
Anyhow, this was shot on a sunny but chilly afternoon, where temperatures were up to 12 degrees, however, a chilly windy breeze kept it from being warm. Shot roughly between 15:00 and 18:00, so this is 3 hrs worth of spotting. I was quite intrigued to of caught some of the new routes introduced at the start of S17 too, including Easyjet's new route to Stockholm Arlanda, Ryanair's new route to Weeze, and another Easyjet route to Nantes. It's always good to see the new routes sprawling in at Luton Airport
Anyway video includes MNG Cargo A330-200F, Wizz Air A321's and A320's, Blue Air 737-400 and 737-800, Fly Kiss Embraer E145, Ryanair 737-800's, a Thomson (TUI) 737-800, Monarch A320 and A321, Easyjet A319's and A320's, incl 3 special liveries, also a fair few private jets, including Embraer Legacy's, a Phenom 100, Gulfstream V, Cessna Citation jets and a Global 6000
*Do Note that this is filmed on a 6ft stepladder free hand (handheld) with no tripod or anything to stabilise footage, so some of it does come out a little shaky. Sadly also the ground has become unlevel where the farmer has plowed the land, so a few times I did loose my balance on this video. I apologise for that
