HeartBeat tells the story of vampire Sun Woo-hyul (Taec-yeon) who desperately wants to become human but misses his chance when he is awakened from his 100-year slumber one day early by cold-hearted school nurse Joo In-hae (Won Ji-an). The two end up living together and finding love.
