Bonjour a tous, This week
Bonjour a tous, This week at the Chateau.
We follow Tracy and Tony blocking up the last hold in the Château cottage with a beautiful old French door that we found for sale locally, well a 4 hour drive for Tony. Now the cottage salon has its new windows, roof and front door fitted this is the first room we have that is fully watertight, even our little caravans are not fully watertight, so we can not wait to get the cottage finished.
Also, Tracy has been busy sanding each of the beams in the cottage salon, taken them back to the natural beautiful wood, then moving on to the work in the château, removing buckets of old plaster on the third floor and sanding each on the beams in what will be Terry's and Ash's suite in the chateau.
And finally, little Jonathan takes us for a walk down to the chicken pen to see if we have baby chicks and searches the chateau to find Nana.

ABOUT US,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.
