In today’s video, we will show you how to offload unused and specific applications on your iPhone.
The main difference between deleting and offloading an app is that the latter deletes the app without erasing the app’s data, while deleting or uninstalling an app will delete or remove all data together with the installation files.
This procedure is pretty straightforward, and here’s how you do it:
From the Home screen, launch the Settings app.
Scroll down to find the App Store, and once found, tap on it.
Scroll down to the bottom part of the screen and then toggle the switch next to Offload Unused Apps to enable it.
Doing so will prompt the device to automatically delete unused apps without deleting their documents and data. The app must not be used for several days before your iPhone decides to offload it.
