The Finishing of the Parting Glass The High Kings

Last year I spent a month on the island of Ireland. Exploring the roots of part of my family. All the way from Donegal down to County, Wexford and every place in between.

I got to see the Irish folk band , The High Kings. Play three times while I was over there in their country. It was a great way to pay tribute to my Irish ancestry.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Irish folk concert without finishing with this song, the parting glass. And at the end of their performance in Dublin, they brought out a bunch of people playing Irish bagpipes to cap it off!
