Before every game, the Virginia Tech football team runs out of the tunnel to the rocking beat of Metallica's Enter Sandman. As they exit the tunnel, the players slap a piece of Hokie Stone beside which are the words. "For Those Who Have Passed, For Those To Come ... Reach For Excellence." How did that Hokie Stone and those words get there?
