Hua Hin october 1991

uncut, unrendered footage from Hua Hin. Hilton(Melia) still under construction. so city beach. dirt roads (din daeng) only (except between Railway Hotel (Sofitel) and train station. soi bintabat : ONE BAR ONLY! (ladda bar) No! condos, in takiab one only.  -  Hua Hin was still a fishing village. very few farang.

I had fallen in love to Hua Hin and the thai people already in 1986. but then i only had a foto camera with me. we had stayed at the Railway Hotel ... for a month. ;-) - i'm a blessed man

only regrets: actually we wanted to travel to pi pi island. we had a tip from a thai friend here in berlin. but we were so "sucked up" by the thai hospitalty in Hua Hin specially the Railway Hotel.  so  we skipped our plan. in the look back i have some regretts pipi island in 1986 must have been a true  paradise, but so was hua hin for us. the railway hotel. only Hercule Poirot was missing ;-)
