Για να μπορέσει να καταφέρει να ξεντύνεται μόνος του και να κάνουμε αυτό το βίντεο προσπαθούσε 1μιση χρόνο. Με επίμονή, μεθοδικότητα και πολλή βοήθεια από άλλους φίλους τετραπληγικούς, τον εργοθεραπευτή Σταύρο Καλλίδη και ατελείωτες ώρες παρακολούθησης άλλων χρήστων αμαξιδίου στο YouTube, κατάφερε να βρει το δικό του μοναδικό τρόπο.
Πλέον λοιπόν το κάνει κάθε βράδυ, όλο και πιο γρήγορα και είναι μέρος της καθημερινής του ρουτίνας. Πολλές φορές ξαπλώνει και το μεσημέρι και το κάνει 2 φορές την ημέρα.
Δείχνουμε 2 στάδια ένα στους 16 μήνες μετά το ατύχημα και το δεύτερο στους 18 μήνες μετά το ατύχημα. Παρακολουθήστε το και χαρείτε τον όπως και εγώ!
* Σημείωση: O Νίκος δεν μπορεί να κινήσει τα δάχτυλα και τους αντίχειρες του, τα πόδια του, τον τρικέφαλο μυ στο μπράτσο, όπως ούτε και τους κοιλιακούς και ραχιαίους μύες και δεν έχει επίσης κάμψη του καρπού. Και όμως τα κατάφερε!
The video that everyone has been waiting for! Nick is finally doing striptease on your screens!
For this video to be possible, Nick has been trying to undress himself for over 1 and a half year. With perseverance, structured thinking and a lot of help from other quadriplegic friends, the occupation therapist Stavros Kallidis and endless hours of wathcing YouTube videos of other wheelchair users, Nick has managed to find his own way to do it. Now he does it every night, as the time goes by he does it even fast and it is now part of his daily night routine. Sometimes he will have a nap in the afternoon and will therefore be doing it twice a day.
Note: Nick is a C5-C6 incomplete quadriplegic. What this means is that I can no longer use his hands, fingers, thumb, wrist flexion, triceps, core and back muscles and legs.
