In their video, their motor seems to be running without stopping. A fourth of the magnets are installed on an angle so that the magnet on the rotor can be attracted and repelled at the same time so that the cycle can restart itself again and the permanent magnet can go easily through the sticky point. It might need additional prototypes with some shielding to see if it does work for sure. A permanent magnet on the rotor can be either attracted or repelled 300° of the rotation depending on the polarity.
