Islamabad or Zurabad (Morad Ab)
Islamabad or Zurabad (Morad Ab) is the name of a neighborhood located on a hill in the middle of the city of Karaj in the Alborz province of Iran; Morad Ab was a green hill that was used by the residents of Bilqan village in Karaj for grazing cattle. With the migration of Zanjan-speaking Turks to this region in the early 50's, the region takes on a residential form. Islamabad neighborhood is located in Alborz province, in the eastern part of Karaj city.
Islamabad region is one of the most marginalized and worn out areas of Alborz province. One sixth of the worn-out tissue of Alborz province is located in this area.
Due to its location on the hill, this neighborhood is connected to the street and adjacent paths by stairs.
After the constructions of recent years, the old and new texture together have changed the old face of this neighborhood.
In the back alleys of the neighborhood at the top of Islamabad hill, there is still childhood enthusiasm and a place for children to play and gather together.

The division of lands into small slabs and the continuation of inappropriate construction have created narrow passages and alleys and dense texture in Islamabad neighborhood.
The location of the two regions of Islamabad and Azimiyah has created a lot of conflict, and the welfare, facilities and housing prices in the Azimiyah region are not comparable to the Islamabad region.

اسلام‌آباد یا زورآباد (مراد آب) نام محله‌ای است که بر فراز تپه‌ای در مرکز شهر کرج در استان البرز ایران واقع شده است.
مراد آب تپه ای سرسبز بود که اهالی روستای بیلقان کرج از آن برای چرای احشام استفاده می کردند. با مهاجرت زنجانیهای ترک های زبان به این منطقه در اوایل دهه 50، منطقه شکل سکونتی به خود می گیرد.
محله اسلام آباد در استان البرز و در قسمت شرقی شهر کرج واقع شده است. منطقه اسلام آباد یکی از مناطق حاشیه نشین و فرسوده استان البرز است. یک ششم بافت فرسوده استان البرز در این منطقه قرار دارد.
این محله به دلیل قرار گرفتن بر روی تپه از طریق پلکان به خیابان و مسیرهای مجاور متصل می شود.
پس از ساخت و سازهای سال های اخیر، بافت قدیم و جدید در کنار هم چهره قدیمی این محله را تغییر داده است.
در کوچه پس کوچه های محله بالای تپه اسلام آباد هنوز شور و شوق کودکی و محلی برای بازی و دور هم جمع شدن بچه ها وجود دارد. نزدیک منطقه اسلام آباد محله حصار است که رودخانه کرج آن را از هم جدا می کند.
نمای حصار محله حصار تقسیم اراضی به دال های کوچک و ادامه ساخت و سازهای نامناسب باعث ایجاد معابر و کوچه های باریک و بافت متراکم در محله اسلام آباد شده است.
موقعیت دو منطقه اسلام آباد و عظیمیه تضادهای زیادی ایجاد کرده است و رفاه، امکانات و قیمت مسکن در منطقه عظیمیه قابل مقایسه با منطقه اسلام آباد نیست.
