2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Hybrid (New Land Cruiser for the U.S.): What we expect

The next-gen 2024 Toyota Prado (2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado) that will debut later this year is expected to feature shape that resembles the all-new Lexus GX. Embracing a traditional, old-school 4x4 aesthetic with a boxy, square top hat, it should also share design elements like vertical mirrors with the new GX. The 2024 Prado will ride on the TNGA-F platform, which was first introduced in the Land Cruiser 300 in 2021 and is also shared by the Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia models, all of which offer a hybrid powertrain option. In the Prado Hybrid, the same 2.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine is projected to deliver a total output of 325 horsepower, accompanied by over 450 lb.-ft. of torque.
