In this video we show you how to install a cable TV outlet box into the drywall, then add a cable TV wall plate for a more professional look. You do a project like this if you cave a plain cable TV wire sticking out of a hole in the wall.
How to install a cable pass through wall plate
The cable outlet box is added into a hole cut in the drywall and secured to the drywall to allow the coaxial wall plates with cable TV outlet built into to secure to the front of the cable outlet box. Then the cable wall outlet plate is screwed onto the front of the cable outlet box.
How to install cable outlet
After the cable wall outlet installation, we show you how to remove the old cable outlet box from the wall, and how to install cable outlet plates onto the wall. The cable wall plate looks so professional compared to the old cable TV wire coming out of a hole in the wall. make sure to get extra wide cable wall outlet covers.

Coaxial wall plates usually come with the coaxial cable connector on both sides of the cable tv wall outlet. If your cable inside the wall has the F-connector built onto the end of it, then you just screw the coaxial cable onto the interior side of the coaxial wall plate.
