Hi welcome to Stressed Out Stress Free my name is Vincent Woon and we are in Poultney Vermont here as you can see there's a lot of snow. Let me show you, we had quite some nice snow around here. That's the hill where my kids and their cousins were playing down here snowboarding and tubing.

My nephew had a fall and he hurt his neck. He was telling me that he fell and his head went forward and swing backwards like a whiplash. I want to take inside and show you how to release the pain.

He told me the pain was here all the way down to the shoulder blade and what I found out was underneath here to the shoulder that means these area here are all pain from C3, C4,C5 and C6.

When he drop his neck down he has pain all the way down to the shoulder blade and when there's pain here you can't do this stretch to loosen up the area.

Use your finger pads push in, put pressure in there and push that way, towards the pain. Use the other hand from the opposite direction go back in there like such. And move around to cover all the pain area. Use your finger pad press on it then stretch this way stretch and the opposite direction so that it will soften the tightness and for the back press this way and down back up down back up down back up, basically down backwards, down backwards.

The other option is have somebody massage you. That person massage your neck this way, down, use the finger pad, rub into it,  rub into it, add some stretches push it down,  back up, down back up,  rub into it.  Rub here push down side down side most of the time they are already in pain, so if somebody can do this for them that will be great! Don't forget the other side stretch, with both hands.

Those are the steps you can start off with light pressure and when you feel the tightness loosen up, as you feel the tightness loosen up you can add in more light brushes like this to create the heat. When there's heat it create circulation, when there's circulation it brings blood to the area and it creates oxygen and the pain will go away.

After all those rubbing and massaging on the neck to release the pain my nephew have a sore on the neck, from neck to the shoulder. So I took this Teet Da Chiew from my first aid kit that I take to travel whenever I do a road trip and this ointment helps to take away sores and bruises. I applied  this ointment to his neck and the shoulder and it's very helpful and he's feeling much better now.
