I knew we were going to try Jollibee for the first time in Maui, and once we landed we had to go there for lunch! I've seen a few of the famous Filipino Fast Food restaurants on the west coast, but there are none in the midwest where we live, so this was our first time trying Jollibee!
We loved the chicken! It's so good they call it chicken joy and it earns the title being crispy and juicy. Amazing! The chicken sandwich also followed through being the best of all fast food chains. I'm sure it would win a chicken sandwich war any day!
The big question is, would we like the spaghetti? Not your ordinary spaghetti. The website describes it as "Our unique spaghetti topped with Jollibee’s signature sweet-style sauce, loaded with chunky slices of savory ham, ground meat, and hotdog." It seems like some people love it and others don't understand it. We LOVED it! It was fun and different, certainly sweet, but it works!
The peach mango pie is fried, crispy and amazing! Loved it! Courtney liked the fries, comparing them to Burger King and I could pass. Neither of us was a huge fan of the yumburger. It might have just been over shadowed by the chicken!
