While the police were investigating Liu Huawen's case, Feng Biao fled the city after killing Wu Tian. The police then started pursuing Liu Huaqiang. Soon after, Song Yunlai, known as Song Tiger, was shot and killed in the same way. Xu Guoqing concluded that Liu Huaqiang was carrying out a revenge plan and began to track and stop him. Eventually, Liu Huaqiang was captured by the police and sentenced to death.
