Conservation Science – A digital 3D and orthophotography visualization of Arch of Janus, Italy

The Arch of Janus was included on the 2016 World Monuments Watch. With support from American Express, WMF and the Italian Ministry of Culture collaborated on a conditions assessment, structural analysis, emergency stabilization, and digital graphic documentation of the Arch of Janus. A digital 3D model of the arch allows the public to get a full, 360-degree view of the structure and its internal spaces, as well as a close look at its architectural and decorative details.
