Adjective endings in Nominative case in German language depends on gender of noun. A1 Level German language course for beginners Lesson no. 9 covers the topic of adjective ending in nominative case. German language cases are Nominative, Accusative, Dative and Genitive. In each German language case the adjective has a different ending. This change in the adjective ending depends on 2 factors. 1. In which case the adjective is being used 2. What is the gender of noun in German language for which adjective is being used. If the adjective is being used in nominative case and the gender of noun in German language is masculine the adjective ending for definite article in German language is so that an e is added to the basic form of the adjective in German language. If the adjective is being used in nominative case and the gender of noun in German language is feminine the adjective ending for definite article in German language is so that an e is added to the basic form of the adjective in German language. If the adjective is being used in nominative case and the gender of noun in German language is neutral the adjective ending for definite article in German language is so that an e is added to the basic form of the adjective in German language. Adjective ending in accusative, dative and genitive case will be different and will be explained in the next videos of A1 level of German language course for beginners.
