The University of Akron Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s Program

The University of Akron CACREP accredited CMHC Master’s Program trains ethically and culturally informed professional counselors who competently diagnose and treat a variety of life concerns including but not limited to mental disorders. Counselors use a wellness and holistic perspective to address bio-psycho-social client concerns throughout the life span while assisting individuals, groups and society through advocacy and outreach.
